HOW TO ORDER
There are three alternative methods for contacting, placing and payment of your order
By Phone:- The phone is quick but I do have other tasks to perform during the day and the best time to reach me is after 7.30 PM AEST, particularly if you have to ring STD (it's cheaper). Please note that Day Light Savings Time applies to Victoria from the last Sunday of October to Last Sunday of April

By e-mail:- You can send your order by e-mail. Your order will be acknowledge by return e-mail.
1. Please make sure that the subject line clearly states "New order from----".
2. Your order is embodied in the main text of the e-mail (Please no attachments).
3. That you designate the payment method you prefer.

MAIL ORDER METHOD OF PAYMENT
Payment in full (including packing and postage) must made within 7 working days from the date of notification of the total cost of your order, after that time period the order is cancelled.
I accept cash (Australian Dollars), personal cheques (Australia only), Australian Money orders made payable to PETER LLOYD or by direct deposit into my cheque account (details provided with confirmation of your order)
Cash on delivery (COD) terms are not available.
Due to the unacceptable cost of servicing such a facility, credit cards and PayPal cannot be accepted. Should the service become available, a surcharge will apply.
SHIPPING METHOD-
Unless other specified, all goods are sent by Australia Post. The maximum length permissible is 1meter which precludes the shipment of balsa greater than this length. Tissue will be sent in hard cardboard tubes, separate for other products to minimize damage and creasing. Should you wish to forgo this requirement, you accept the condition that it may arrive in with no recourse back to the seller.
POSTAL CHARGES-
Within Australia, small packets and mailing tubes are charged by actual weight. A mailing rates booklet is available from your local Post Office.
Within Australia, Balsa is charged by "deemed weight" where the parcels volume in cubic metres is multiplied by 250, so the quantity you order will determine the postage rate which can vary between $10 and $27 depending on which state it is delivered to. Please contact me at the time of placing your order for an approximate shipping cost.
REGISTER POST and INSURANCE-
While not essential, if you prefer to cover contingencies such as transit damage or theft within the postal system, registration and insurance of your parcels is available at the rates listed below.
Within Australia:- Registered post costs $2.70 for the first $100 of parcel value plus $1.25 for each additional $100 or part thereof.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS-
As a general rule, I try to ship within 24 hours of receipt of your order provided that is in stock.
With Balsa, I try to stock the popular sizes and densities, if however I am out of stock of the density or size required, please allow a minimum 3 weeks for it to be cut and graded (I have to work in with the balsa suppliers cutting schedule). Delivery can also be affected by shipping delays incurred by the balsa suppliers in which case you will be notified if your order is affected.
In the event of price changes I will adjust the quantities supplied to agree with the payment and advise accordingly.
Every care is taken to ensure that your order is picked and packed so that it arrives in good condition but no responsibility can be taken for goods damaged in transit. Compensation maybe paid by Australia Post at their discretion when not insured, and I will assist the purchaser in any claims dispute with proof of shipment.
